X1 development stopped in 2012. That said, I know SONAR 8.5, X2, X3 all run on Win10. I have to believe that X1 does too. Are you saying the program does not run or a particular project does not open?

Jim, it's not a good idea to post your email address in an open forum (much less use it as your login name).

Automated "bots" routinely scour the web for email addresses that are then targeted for marketing, and even malicious, purposes.

At the very least, you will likely see a huge uptick in the amount of spam you receive.

Uninstall X1 and reinstall it. I'll bet it will work then. ;-)

To the OP welcome to the forum. I advise you to use a screen name not your email address. You wont find any here that is a member doing anything wrong with it but we also have guests that we don't even see as such. Who knows what they may do with your email address. Keep in mind this is an open public forum.

Pretty cool looking tents. It's not a big deal to post e mail addresses.. I've had my business address on my web page for 6 years now and I get less spam there than I do in Hotmail or G mail...
And web site address like his can be changed in 10 seconds...

Jim I would go with a re install.. You should really think about upgrading. X1 will go down in history as one of the worst versions of Sonar..They got it right by X3.

why not updating to the current Sonar version?
You're ready to update your Windows OS to the newest version but not your DAW software?
You know, that there will be no future for old Sonar versions like X1?

Best advise from my point is an update to the current Sonar lineup.

It may be the audio interface drivers need to be reinstalled. It is hard to say without some followup from the OP.
