Looks like you can also import EZ's midi into AD too. I haven't tried this yet, but it looks good.

Most excellent.  I'm giving it a try now.

Well it works, but the way they show up in the AD beats page is really squirrelly.  The EZ drummer folder structure is not maintained,  and beats sub-folders do not show up properly, so I ended up with a bunch of random, poorly labeled beats.  Oh well.  On the upside, they did play properly for the most part and the mapping worked.

Great news! I may just leave the midi files alone. Having the map work is the important thing. I'm very impressed with the AD program so far.

I have EZD - what does this map exactly? The drum sounds for use in AD?

Not the drum sounds, but the EZ Drummer midi beats it shipped with will be available in AD.  map will make it play EZ beats in AD using the AD drums.

Thanks for this link.  I just downloaded the drum map.  I just put it in the User Maps section of Addictive Drums.  This way i can just switch user maps in AD and then use the Sonar X3 Midi Browser preview.  I put a link in the X3 Midi Browser to my Toontrack midi files.  It works perfectly.

Thanks for this link!

Glad it helps. I need to setup things like you got them cecelius2. That sounds awesome.

The only trick is that the Toontrack midi files have section/folder labels that appear empty in the Media Browswer; the folder tree system does not apply in the media browser.  What I learned to do is when I find an empty folder, I just click on the next folder and usually the midi files that would normally be in that folder are actually there in the next folder.  The blanks were problemsome at first, but then I learned that Toontrack folder system does not appear properly in the Media Broswer.  The folder/subdirectories appear normally in the EZdrummer of course but they don't in the X3 media browser.  So if you find a blank or empty folder, go back up, and then click on the next folder.  Yeah, it is problematic, but once you figure it out, you can preview Toontrack midi files using X3's Media Browser.  Just experiment and you will get the hang of it.

[[Edit:  One thing I forgot:  You can adjust the kind of display/view you want in the X3 Media Browser.  You can set it to include all folders and files, or just folders or none.  Play around with the views settings and find one that works best for you.  The main thing is that if you find an empty folder it is just a "header", just go back up one level and select another folder and soon you will figure out the way it all is displayed.]]

Hi everyone, it's been awhile since I've been around. I recently upgraded to X3e so "I'm baaaack!!" lol
Anyhow, Would anyone happen to have/know a location of the map file the op had the link for? It's seems Toontrack got rid of the forum and I emailed their customer support with less than steller results :/ I did do a search but that didn't help much either. Forum's changed quite a bit since the last time I was here. Thanks.
