Seriously, fif... while x3 was a marvelous move in a new direction, it was only the start and Platinum has raised the bar significantly...while a few folks still remain on X3, most of us recognize the value of all the improvements/changes/bug fixes that have been implemented since then...including improvements to midi, staff view, and oh my it is way to insane to begin to discuss and has been detailed many times...
Bottom line, move to platinum, dude! It's never been cheaper!
