Is CSC discontinued then?

If so it would mean manually changing SC to rapture then manually finding the instrument used then manually laying down the parts again. Manually???

Right click replace synth.
You don't need to play the parts again do you?
Or roll back, and finish your project with this synth.

Worth it, you now have a 64 bit plugin to use. At least there is a free upgrade path and no dead end.

Yep I have the same issue, massive static, however, I have never used CSC in a project so I have no issue long term like those that have saved projects employing it.  I just loaded it to see if it was doing it to me as well.  I also have the good fortune of not buying Rap Pro or Z3ta+ 2 until after installing Kingston so I can't replicate any problems with those either.

So far, with the exception of the scary blue circle appearing for 30-30 seconds when loading some samples in Rap Pro, I am loving Kingston.

Other threads intimate this is happening with other plugs, too.
Makes sense.
Why should a "bug" (if it is that) break just one specific plug?

I am holding off on Kingston until things are clarified.

By the way, Rapture Session is colossal!
I ran the download overnight and had to let it continue during the day.

Now back at my computer and three files did not download
successfully, so I'm re-downloading them now. Each file is
between 500MB to 1.1GB.
Too much for my poor internet connection.

I agree clarification would be nice.

From what I'm am seeing it's an old 32 bit plugin that's probably better off dumped. There have been a few other third party plugins effected also unsure if it is related. Cakewalk have fixed a few things in VST that may have broken some other plugins, so it's up to the third parties to fix it (they probably had workaround code in previously).

I don't hold up much hope with this plugin being fixed, and besides there is a much much better solution. So yup clarification rather than speculation on my part (before anybody buts in to point it out, apparently this is an evil thing to do here...).

There seems to be a problem with the VST scanner that's cobbling some peoples systems. When I installed it wiped out my VST 3 plugs and only left 32 bit VST 2 plugs. I've exchanged some email with support and they know something is amiss. I'm sure it will all be clarified after the holiday.

Well I had some VST3 DLL's missing. I noticed the file wasn't in Sonar preferences. Disappeared now fixed. I suspect you have thought of this and double checking the VST file paths in CCC. Cheers...

Thanks, but these were existing plugs and definitely related to the Kingston update. I repeated the install twice, and twice it messed things up. I did manage to recover both times and I'm now running Kingston but not the Rapture plug in that came with Kingston.
