  • Can this be done in Sonar ?

Says it was done on Ableton live.  
Obviously there is a lot of talent and a lot of planning....but still wondering what this Ableton Live looper thing is and does Sonar have something compatible that I do not know about.
 
No idea where to post, this so I will start here and wait to see where it gets moved.

SONAR does not have a dedicated "looper" per se. However, I wrote an article about how to construct one using existing SONAR functionality.
 
As an aside, also note there are lots of hardware loopers from companies like Pigtronix, DigiTech, etc. They're lots of fun for live performance.

That's easy! Just record as many overlays as you like to different tracks, drag and drop your clips to Matrix editor's cells and toggle them on/off as you wish.

I have no doubt the same end result can be achieved in Sonar.
 
I was wondering about doing it in one go as was done on the video.  Not a big thing for me,  more just curious.
