Planning on playing my Fishman Triple Play equipped midi guitar for LIVE performance for keyboard parts.. but, concerned that it will play unwanted notes.. Can I deglitch realtime so that I can play only intended notes?

Check out the MIDI Event Filter FX - right-click the MIDI track's FX bin to insert it. I've sometimes experienced hiccups/delays in passing notes in real time with this MFX engaged so you'll want to play with it for an extended period to make sure it doesn't cause any problems. You might also check out the many free MFX from TenCrazy.com; I believe he has an event filter as well, and I've had better luck using his SustainFix MFX than Cakewalk's Event Filter to block CC123.

I have used the MIDI event filter in Sonar with MIDI guitar (Jam Origin), Fishman Triple play and Roland GI-20. All with mixed results. If you expect it to miraculously fix tracking issues, you will probably be disappointed. It will catch the occasional crazy notes octaves above the intended lick or misfires from fret buzz or string noise but it will not do much for an all out shred. In my experience, you have to play like it is a different instrument and be aware of the limitations and above all, play as cleanly as possible.
