As a very old-time cakewalk user, I sometimes hit keys that do un-intentional operations....  I can't guarantee that did not happen:-)
 
So i had an metronome earlier this evening.   Now it's gone.  Restarted, nothing.  Everything else is fine.
Thoughts?  The most current Platinum version.  Audio metronome selected.  Buses fine, etc.

I guess thanks for no one answering this.  I accidentally it some keys and it it came back.
 
Now I don't know how I feel about this.  Good there's shortcuts.  Bad there's shortcuts.  If cakewalk is listening I guess giving the user an option on all this might make sense. As an old time user I have to reset the function keys as they used to work on a new install (pain in the ass).  Now if on a mobile device does all hell break loose?  Don't know and won't know myself but Microsoft plan is one for all, meaning an app functions the same on all devices.  Last I checked I could not find an F8 key on my iphone:-)
