Actually I was pasting in a previous quote, when you asked what the fuss was about, as though it somehow didn't exist or something. Not that you would understand that either.

If you hadn't have asked the question and just stated your opinion, I would not have pasted the quote.

Maybe next time don't ask the question.

Ever hear of a rhetorical question.

Hyperbole does not lead to productive discussions. Stuff DOES get fixed. There have been hundreds of bug fixes since SONAR 2015 started...way more than were applied to X3 in an equivalent period of time. You can complain that they're not the fixes you wanted, but to say "stuff does not get fixed" is ludicrous.

You are just going for the soundbyte, please let me remind you what I wrote just one post before.

I don't see much choice. Hope it's like this for a good few months. Sonar has long been out of balance between new features and fixes/long standing workflow issues. Whilst I've seen many legacy issues plugged with platinum (not enough IMHO as the balance was way off from the start) I'm perceiving just as many new issues to replace the fixes.

Time for a feature freeze to last more than just a month IMHO.

Of course I read it, I responded to it.

You posted two different opinions. I responded to each one individually. Next time, warn me if what you say later is actually superseded by something you said earlier, and I won't feel a need to respond.

As to what you label as your opinions or perceptions, you're welcome to entertain any opinion or perception you want...like that you had given up hope for the Concrete Limiter fix ever happening.

Hmm just in case you didn't get the point, here it is a third time...

We do get the point. Repeating it for a third time simply means that some people are disagreeing with the same point over and over again. Repeating the same thing will not change anyone's opinion. New data, or data based on factual information rather than your perceptions, will be more effective if you want to change opinions.

I've also given up hope that Rap Pro,Z3TA+2, selection, zoom, drum maps, takelanes issues and bugs will be resolved as well...

Please for the love of god prove me wrong again..

We have to exhaust entertainment value first.

Technically, Cakewalk proved you wrong.

Frankly, I'd rather have Mix Recall, VocalSync, and upsampling than a better drum map UI. But I realize not everyone has the same priorities, nor do I expect everyone to embrace whatever opinion I have. SONAR being suitable for a wide variety of projects attracts people with very different needs and priorities.

I accept the limitations in all the tools I use, and work with them to create music. I prefer to use what I have to the fullest rather than fixate on what I don't have.

Damn straight! Threads are no fun if they say "I turned on SONAR, and it worked for several hours while I did musical projects. I played keyboards, guitar, and sang. When I got tired, I turned off the computer, brushed my teeth, and went to bed. I set my alarm so I wouldn't be late for work. I will probably use SONAR again tomorrow."

No entertainment value in that kind of thread!! We need conflict, the frisson of stimulating thought engendering new responses and concepts that propel music forward into exciting and uncharted territory!

Or we can complain about stuff, which apparently is a whole lot easier than "Discussion focused on the use of SONAR Producer, Studio, Essential and Base."

Personally I would have prefered Rap Pro,Z3TA+2, selection, zoom, drum maps, takelanes issues and bugs, and whatever is left on this list resolved ....

http://forum.cakewalk.com.m.aspx?m=3009969&p=1

.. and the load of stuff hanging around the problem reports forums..

.. rather than have mix recall, vocalsync and upsampling, and drum replacer come along introducing even more bugs of their own (which clearly took a lot of time fixing).

I know, I must be... crazy...
