If I log in I want to see how many days left and the end date.

I don't, 'cause I find it annoying.

Then don't navigate to the subscription page, which is what I'm talking about.

It would be friggin nice though if you've only got two weeks left to have a notification as soon as you log in, as long as you could turn it off.

i'd be surprised if they don't notify subs of approaching renewal - sales should be sacked if they don't!

what a strange question - i trust email as much as the normal postal service, and i think its the only contact info they have for me - everyone else seems to manage ok, why shouldn't cakewalk? why wouldn't they send out expiry/renewal reminders?

You're right...but thanks to Adobe et al, there's an actual definition for "subscription software."

Okay then. Don't forget to sign up to the newsletter as well!! ;) That service has aways been 100% perfect...

TerraSin
I would personally love if they did a complete overhaul of MIDI editing that destroys the competition. Everyone mentions how Cubase is the current lead in that area.

I'd also like to see an update to video support for audio editing in film.

Going to laugh when January comes and they surprise everyone with Mac support and finally become the industry standard DAW. ;)

I don't know about Cubase, but IMO, having the P5 SS/MIDI editor section ripped out of P5 and set up as an optional MIDI editor for Sonar would be great.

did you forget the "/s" at the end there?
cakewalk has a limited-time current userbase - it would be a schoolboy error not to prompt those users to renew their "not a" subscription... this is a separate system than the newsletter, especially now it's handled by "not so" cleverbridge...
maybe paypal (one of the "not a" subscription payment options) has the possibility to notify when a recurring payment is about to end?
anything useful to add? maybe i should try deleting my aud.ini, or whatever you're pimping these days?
