Here you go. This should work in all version of Windows.  Goto Control Panel. Find "Ease of Access Center" The list should show "Make the mouse easier to use" Click on that. Look at the section "make it easier to manage windows" check the first item "Activate a window by hovering over it with a mouse". That should do it.

Good music and thanks for posting your findings with Kingston.
I've also noticed a real jump in speed with the latest release.  Have finished a couple of compositions over the holiday week/weekend and the update has contributed handily!
Although I did get one crash this past week, it seemed more like it was my own doing and not necessarily the fault of the update as I couldn't reproduce it all week.
Did I say that was good music?

Thanks Arlen, been really putting my full effort into this music stuff lately, tired of not taking it seriously and just fooling around to just get a certain sound (making awesome 1 or 2 bar loops which I turn into songs), but not ever painting the whole picture. Want to take my mind on a full out test drive and see what I can do when I really put everything I've got into it. Maybe my life depends on this. Maybe this is what I was suppose to do. You know? Sorry to get dramatic.

As for the rare crashes, I've nailed it down. Something to do with Omnisphere 2. Something is not working right with it. It will mostly crash upon freeze or un-freeze. 2x button doesn't seem to change it. Sonar will sometimes immediately crash when I click on freeze for that specific track. Workaround is to add plug in again and copy midi to it.

Another clue is that when Sonar crashes doing the Omni2 freeze, I usually have to reboot to be able to get the process closed in order to restart Sonar.

One thing that may have an impact on why my start screen only needs one click to open a project is I always setup my mouse to activate a window when it hover's over it. Window selection is automatic with this. It saves clicking on windows to bring them in to focus. Its a Windows setting.

I thought that this was a new feature in Windows 10. You can achieve this in older Windows versions??

I know where you're coming from Steve.  I'm taken my song/composition writing more serious now as well.
let me know if you figure out the problem with Omnesphere2.  May help a few others here as well.

3. VSTI's got the wrong name index issue again (the wrong vsti opens). Had to reset and rescan and that seemed to fix it. Annoying and slowed me down. I shouldn't have to do this twice a week. Sometimes I wish Sonar was open source so I could modify the entire plug in manager.

Apparently this was all fixed in JP, it was deemed that we would never have to do a reset and rescan again.
Maybe now it's fixed in Kingston (after a reset/rescan of course!!!).

No, Kingston still has the issue where the VST menus get desynced and choosing one from the menu ends up inserting something different. You don't need to rescan to fix it, just to restart Sonar. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

Lovely composition, slumbermaschine... Nice, open, airy, evolving... Would fit right into the "Hearts of Space" show here in the bay area.

Great report!

I use O2 a lot and have noticed hangs in freezing...O2 can really wank even a powerful system... then again, my system has been slowing down for awhile now, and updating to Win10 actually made it worse... somethings going on... All my drives are beyond full which I presume is the problem. Need to upgrade to larger SSD's but it'll be awhile.

Glad to here everyone raving about the increased speed and Noel's benchmarks look great. I look forward to resolving the issues standing in the way of enjoying this...
