FYI
I ran CCC for the first time this month, it attempted to download the data from the server (as it usually does when executing) and then I got:
 

 
Windows Event viewer log shows no error.
 
Second time was lucky.
Dirty cache?

Same thing happened to me last night Alex - I clicked ok and it ran perfectly the 2nd time

Er, let me see...
