Rematrix strikes me as more of a replacement for PerfectSpace than the Lexicon Pantheon. (Both of which I still use, but got no objection to having more options).

I suppose along with BREVERB, we now have both an 80s/90s digital reverb and a convolution reverb as prochannel modules, which is nice and handy.

Because it was new I tried it on a variety of sounds and it's quite versatile.

I can already tell the ReMatrix is going to be my new "go to" reverb plugin, it's my totally unexpected favourite new thing about Sonar Platinum. The fact that it's also in the Prochannel, with presets, brilliant.

I'll confess / proudly declare that my default go-to remains the Sonitus reverb. That's where I start all my sketching out, mix-wise, and I gradually replace it on things as I go along. But it's a rare mix, for me, that doesn't have something going through the Sonitus. I'm increasingly using BREVERB for drum reverb, you can get some really good drum room sounds out of that. And I like Perfect Space for guitars and keyboards. Look forward to messing with rematrix and finding its specialism.

The thing I like about it is it doesn't impose a heavy cpu load. I admit though I haveny realy loaded up a project with a ton of instances either, but then with reverb less is more in my opinion.

no...that's why I was asking about ReMatrix.  Seems like a hidden gem in the upgrade.
Plus I REALLY liked Perfect Space and have a zillion IR, but it was a tad too CPU intensive for me to use it all over the place.  This seems like Perfect's replacement.

Hey Mike,  Is ReMatrix a 'true stereo' convolution reverb?

Thanks.
