Since I already own the full version of reMATRIX I'm curious on what (if any) the differences are between this and the solo-version found in Platinum.

And also.. if there are differences (which I'm assuming), will these differences remain between the pc-module and the VST-version for us who have both, or will the PC-module then be "updated" to full strength?

Well, for starters, Solo only has one channel.  The full version has five!

I'm not aware that the full version of Breverb is available as a PC module. Can anyone confirm that.

I know the full version is a VST..

My understanding was that it did, (also come with the PC version).

Has anyone tried to use Rematrix solo as a guitar cab ir loader behind an amp sim?

Also, if you click on Rematrix Solo logo in the pc module, you get a link to the Cakewalk store to upgrade to the full version of Rematrix but there is nothing in the Cakewalk store yet...

Wondering what the 'upgrade' price might be.  The full version sells for $320 regularly.

Doesn't say 'True Stereo' anywhere that I can see. My understanding of 'True Stereo' convolution reverbs is that they can load two stereo IR's.  One for the left and one for the right.  Perfect Space is not True Stereo.  Pristine Space from Voxengo is supposed to be a 'True Stereo' convolution.  Honestly, I'm not sure I could tell the difference but I wanted to ask.

It's actually even deeper than that. A true stereo processor does not sum the left and right channels when processing. The left and right signals are processed completely independently as well as having independent left and right IR's. This allows you to actually place a sound within a space very precisely.

Dan

Thanks for that Dan!  That's actually one of of the features I've been wanting in a reverb, (placement), but those plugs are generally pretty expensive.  The Oxford Reverb is one.  I see that Melda has one too.  sigh... above my pay grade.

I haven't spent much time playing with ReMAtrix yet. It has a Stereo knob that allows for mono to stereo spread. As far as I can tell, it's not true stereo as Dan described above.

I have the full version of Breverb that I bought as an upgradefrom the version in Sonar. As far as I can tell it has no Pro Channel version. I have Breverb2 as a PC option. But it has less adjustable parameters than the VST version.

They are close and the PC version can do an excellent job. But for fine tuning/further adjustments you will need the full vst version.

I would assume (cautiously) that ReMatrix would be the same. : )

IR management in ReMatrix is similar to the IR Cab in TH2 Producer in that user IR files must be imported into the plug-in before they can be used.

Is it possible to create presets in the full version that can be selected from within the prochannel version? The prochannel version does not have all the parameters, but various presets present different arrays of parameters, so I was wondering if the whole engine was there but with limited access to all options.

As well as only being able to load only one IR at a time compared to the full versions five there is less control over the IR than there is in the full version.

The full version also has a full processing matrix on the reverb tails with delay, compression, alogrithmic reverb and more. There is a considerable price difference though as you'd expect. The solo version is still very useable though.
