Not sure if This is the right place to post this or not so please correct if I am wrong!

Here are my details
Sonar X1 Studio
V-Studio 100 And brand new M-audio Oxygen 25.

The problem I have is that when I use the oxygen to play any instruments I get this, hard to explain, ticking noise along with the MIDI sound, happens on all instruments? I guess I am wondering since the Oxygen is going through my PC via USB is this sound coming from an inferior sound card? The out put is through the V-Studio and out to m y monitors. Now when I use the sequencer through Sonar I do not get this sound, also I have another MIDI keyboard, USB as well,and it also produces the "noise". Fairly new at all of this and just need some direction.

When you are recording?  Is it the metronome?  check the metronome pop up to tick/untick it.

It happens at anytime recording or just playing the keyboard, metronome is off. it is a sound that seems to modulate along with the midi sound?

OK looks like I found the issue, seems to have been a buffering issue? Ran the wave profiler and buffer size changed and all is well?  Thanks!
