110 pounds to US Dollar today = $141.57.

Yeh, the pound has been tanking this year, only $1.29 now. That does make buying from the UK more attractive. $157.66 ATM. But does that mean I have to download from a server in the UK?

I also see that serial numbers will not be emailed until 12 Sept. so I might hold off a bit.

Don't think so - this will be a direct download from Toontrack - I imagine that would be exactly the same wherever you purchased it from

When you get the serial numbers from Time and Space, you plug them into Toontracks software loader (Toontrack Product Loader) and it downloads from Toontrack and lists it along with your other Toontrack products. This is how it's worked with every other Toontrack expansion pack or midi pack that I have purchased.

clintmartin I would love to have this or BFD2.

I'm assuming you mean BFD3 and NOT BFD2 as BFD2 isn't available or supported anymore.

Yeah, I don't keep up with it...so whatever the latest version is.
SD3 looks impressive, but I honestly need to use what I have more than I do before I buy anything else.

I think this will undoubtedly put them in the "King of the Hill" position as far as VST offerings.  I wonder if this will cannibalize the EZ drummer program.  Or...will folks still stick to EZ for the production ready sound and/or price of entry?

As of now, I still float between AD2, EZ2 and SD3.  I can see myself easing off the EZ2 a bit assuming all of the expansions will work with SD3.

Probably not.  People still like more streamlined software and something affordable to use.

Well..   It's very hard not to like.  And it's silly expensive for software.  I think NI's Maschine will still continue to be the drum product for the masses.

However, George Massenburg..  wow.  I made find the $400
