Maybe to be able to easily see and manipulate what's going on ?
I don't know, that's why I asked why he "really needed" it. I don't recall anyone saying the QuadCurve was difficult to adjust before the flyout so I tend to doubt that's the main reason...but I won't know until the person responds. The flyout adds a bunch of features in addition to the spectrum analyzer:
- Correlating frequencies to keyboard notes
- Input and output metering
- Readout in frequency and dB of where the cursor sits
- Ignores graph resolution setting, so you can always have it set to 18 dB while the PC module is set to something else
Because I feel I don't
need the flyout, if someone
really needs it, I might be missing out on something important that I would find helpful. That's why I'm hoping for some kind of reply that actually addresses my question. Of course if it's just "I have a hard time seeing the PC module," that would make sense too.
I sincerely doubt cakewalk went to the trouble of building the flyout option just for cool looking screen shots.
Of course not. I never stated or implied Cakewalk built the flyout for cool-looking screen shots. I was simply describing what was the best part about
for me. Sometimes you'll get a response more easily if you start the discussion because then someone will go "Well the best part
for me is..."
