With my new laptop I am having CC stop in the middle of several installs and updates. I have not seen this on my box when doing updates. Is there an issue with command center losing inet connections occasionally? If not, I am wondering if I have a bad nic port on the laptop.

No issues here. Some people have experienced slow downloads. On windows 10 I had to use an earlier network adapter driver, you might try updating yours. If it's intel goto the Intel driver update website (worth visiting anyway).

I had issues that were solved by ensuring all .NET windows updates were installed!
