  • Is the Monitorizer Supposed to Switch the Left and Right Channels?

I've tried out the Monitorizer.  I'm impressed!

However, I noticed it switches the left and right channels.

Does anyone else notice this?  If so, does anyone know if this is intended behavior?

Thanks,
Paul

I know I originally questioned whether the Monitorizer was switching the left and right channels.  But now, on second thought, isn't it supposed to be doing that?  As I understand it, it should be taking some signal from the left and putting it to the right to simulate the delay of sound propagation from the left speaker to the right ear and visa-versa.  Is that correct?

If that's the case, then the Monitorizer should, somewhere in the signal processing chain, provide signal from the left channel to the right channel and visa-versa.  The original configuration that I questioned, did indeed, do just that.

The upshot is, I now think that the Monitorizer was initially correct in switching the left and right channels.

Is this correct thinking?

Yes, you are right...I had originally done a "fix" in haste, based on what you had said. Frankly I did not have time to test it out...I should have...the original Monitorizer is fine as is.

FWIW I designed it early September, and a lot has happened since then . I had forgotten what I had done to produce the intended results. SORRY!

No problem, I should have taken the time to think about it instead of just reacting.
