I had AD1 and installed AD2 with the online installer, standalone version is working, AD2.dll is in map C/Steinberg/vst-plugins, but there is still AD1 in Sonar(Home Studio7). What did i do wrong or had to do some more?

Installing AD2 doesn't remove AD1. You should be able access both.

Did you run the VST Scanner?  If not, ad path to the scanner directing it to AD2 and rescan plugins.

I tried, but for some reason the button 'scan VST folders' is in-active. In other words: I cannot push the button, strange...

Can you post a screenshot of your VST Scanner settings?

I am not seeing your problem?

AD2 is not an "upgrade" in the sense that it replaces AD1, it installs in addition to AD1.

You should have 2 fully functioning instances of AD, AD1 and AD2.

Did you mean AD2 is not showing up in HS7, only AD1?
