This is how you can reproduce it :
- Open a new project;
- Select the MBT Ruler (should be on by default);
- Set the tempo to 120 BPM (default);
- Set Snap to Grid to "Whole" and turn off the "Smart Grid" ;
- Load a single shot (not a loop) *.wav audio clip and snap it to the start of any measure (lets say measure 9);
- Zoom all the way in at the start of the loop (zoom in to max). The beginning of the loop should be on the measure 9 bar (all good 'till here);
- Change the tempo from 120 to 119 or 121, 132, 138, 135, 148 etc. :
*- The result : The beginning of the clip is changing position around the measure bar depending on what tempo you chose.
Bouncing to clip will not change this behavior. If the clip is bounced to a loop it behaves normally. Also midi clips are not affected.

- Select Sample Ruler in the ruler bar;
- Turn off "Snap to Grid" and move the clip freely away from its position.
- Turn back on "Snap to Grid" and try to snap the beginning of the clip back to the measure bar:
*- Result: When "Snap to Grid" is turned OFF and the clip is moved the clip will snap to the Sample Ruler's divisions. When "Snap to Grid" is ON the clip still snaps to these sample divisions and you can't snap it exactly to any bar.... (MBT).
My conclusion is that something (operator error ?:-) is making these audio clips (non-looping *.wav clips) to always snap to the Sample Ruler's divisions regardless if "Snap to Grid" is on or off and regardless the snap settings of the active "Snap to Grid" (like 1/2, 1/4, 1/8...etc. They will snap close to those selections but still on the samples rather than the MBT bars...).
Because these sample divisions change position with the tempo BPM they shift the start of these clips ( with a minuscule amount but it could add up for longer clips). You have to zoom in to the maximum to see these sample divisions....
Can anybody confirm this behavior ?
