As my arrangments change - I find i want to delete markers that are no longer needed.  Ive never found an option for this... at least where I would expect it to be....

You have to open the Marker view ...

There's a simpler way. If you right click on a marker and hold down the mouse button, you can press delete while the button is still held to remove the marker.

I was just wondering how to delete markers last night. I had no idea you could do this. I'll have to give it a try. But, really, why isn't there a "delete marker" option when you right-click on it?

Hmm, yeah. Right click on a marker brings up the marker properties dialog rather than a menu, but it could be added to that dialog I suppose.

Thank you, John. I never knew that trick.

But then I often have the Marker View window up anyway, as it's also handy for project navigation. And easier if you have multiple markers to delete, which I usually do.

This is how I do but only after a couple bumbling attempts to delete it VIA the Right Click menu... which of course doesn't work.

It is definitely odd that we cannot delete a marker that way.
