If I try to load a wav or sfz file I get the following message from Dimension Pro.
error uncompressing program data - Program load failed
I can load them from sfz plugin or click and play in Windows Media Player. I can load them into Sound Forge 9. I know about checking for latest dll. Any other ideas from people who have survived this frustrating problem?

when loading sfz or wav files in the Multisample display in the Element section? I would expect to see that error when loading a prog file created for a different synth in to DPro. for example loading a prog file created for Rapture into DPro. Program files are unique for all the Cakewalk sfz synths except Rapture Session and Rapture Pro.

I'm just trying to load one element, a simple wave file. Thanks for the quick response. I do appreciate it.

If you are using the element context menus, that will not work. To load sfz and wav files, click the field just below the 4 element buttons.
