Most of the patch libraries that come with the Sonar soft synths and romplers are years out of date. It would be cool if Cakewalk hired or contracted a good sound designer to produce new patches on a regular basis to be included as part of the content updates. Sonar has a lot of good instrument plugins but once they're released they tend to rot. Having an occasional new patch dump now and then might make them a lot more interesting.

If you really want to win, task your sound designer with regularly recreating the best sounds from the current Billboard charts and Grammy award winning songs. This is a no brainer, all the kids would eat it up. They wouldn't even have to be perfect, just 'close enough'. You could even blog and YouTube the howto. There is no better way to show off the features and capabilities of the synths you're selling, and if you can't do it with them, you know what you need to work on.
