Currently, Novation Launchpad S is not officially supported by sonar. You can use Launchpad s for Matrix view but you have to assign each pad by midi learn for each project. and the use of pads is limited.

Matrix view is potentially an alternative for ableton live's features, bitwig's pads and performance mode of fl studio.
each DAW I mentioned here supports Launchpad s. so I think it would be great if cake support this influential midi hardware for Matrix view.

Yea, although I think that has as much to do with the hardware company.  But Cake could make the matrix itself more amenable to such loop work.  Like Scratchpad for iOS.
