Anyone use one of these?  Have you used it with Sonar and/or Rapture/Rapture Pro, Dim Pro?  Which others?

I'm getting the itch for something new to go with Rapture Pro

Not trying to change the topic, but have you checked out Midi Guitar by JamOrigin? Some of the Sonar users who have used Fishman, Yourock guitar, Sonuus G2m, Roland etc... are now using Jamorigin MG2. I also was looking at Fishman, but for $99, Jamorigin is one of the better (if not best) solutions for midi guitar. There's a also thread in the software forum on this.

Thanks for the info.  I'm not sold on Fishman, it's just the first non-propriety option I've found so far.  Or it was

I just downloaded it.  I can't find a way to even pay for it.  There is a new version beta up though, maybe they're using 1.0 as bait  :)

Just scroll down (on link above) and the BUY icon is towards the bottom of the page.

Version 1 is the official release.......version 2 is in Beta and was just released last week.

There's also an ongoing thread  (with the developer's interaction) on it at KVR over here:  http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=359095&start=1065

I looked at the Triple play which is included on a few guitars like Godin. But the price is double what I think it should be all things considered.
I'll have to re visit the Jam Origin Midi guitar again. I had a crappy computer last time I demoed it so it didn't work very well. I still have a Roland GR 50 but the sound module sounds like an 8 bit Casio keyboard.  The latency is unusable if you use the midi out live.
I miss having the midi guitar. In the day's I used the GR 50 ( 1987?)  the synth was acceptable. Now a GS wavetable synth would blow it away.  Midi guitar is more fun than a room full of stomp boxes.

Yup, Midi Guitar is insanely cool for the asking price.

Thanks for the input folks ...

I plan to demo MIDI Guitar and I've also discovered my GT-001 has a mono audio to MIDI capability.  I don't have high hopes for MIDI out of the GT ...

On paper I like the idea separate sensing for each string AND wireless of the Fishman TP.  More research is needed.  I'm not in a huge hurry  :)
