I've never used the Update All function in CCC. If I do, will I get multiple installs all over the place of existing synths, effects, etc.?

I'd like to know too.  Never installed Z3ti thru the CCC, but looks like I need to now to get the update.  Also, sometimes clicking "update all" doesn't seem to actually install all !  :-)  Not an issue as you can then just select what you need to continue to update, and never felt the need to really figure it out, I guess.

Installing Rapture Pro right now but with so many modules and subcomponents, it's getting hard to keep track of which ones to update and which ones to ignore. I wish CCC  could scan the computer and figure out what I already have installed and whether it's up to date.

Absolutely!! That would be great!!

I already had Z3ta2, Rapture (older version), and Dim Pro installed prior to Kingston. Last night I updated via the CCC and noticed Z3ta & Rapture were in red (does it mean CCC thinks it's not installed??) while the Sonar update was in yellow.

Since I did want all the updates, I just clicked on Update All, but like Daniel stated....at the time, I also didn't know if there were duplicates to be installed or it was just updating my existing libraries. I did notice my OS drive (SSD) dropped down a few GB's after the install. I have to admit though that I didn't have a chance to look into the file locations last evening, but will definitely take a look over this weekend.

+1 on a CCC scanner (to avoid duplicates).

I clicked install all. I was at the Kingston update section. It installed all of it effortlessly, and as fast as I hope Kingston runs! It didn't install the Rapture updates. So I did them, and I guess there was either a glut of people downloading, because my pc usually doesn't take long at all to dl files this size. Flawless install. Thank you CW bakers!!

I have DSL and just clicked "Install All" for the Kingston update.  I am hopeful that if I let it run continuously between now and late December when the next update comes out, that I will have it completed in time to start downloading again.  And this is just one of two machines.

Seriously, I appreciate the updates and fixes, but I really wish there was a better way to structure the updates so that they are much smaller.  I can't help but get the feeling that I am downloading an entire copy of a huge program just to make a change in a few lines of code.  Do you guys use modular coding techniques?  This is very time consuming and frustrating.
