Hey there. This is annoying problem: when I freeze a synth, it cuts the tail off at the place where last MIDI ends. My work around is to enter extra midi note few measures ahead, so that when it freezes, it goes all the way to that point. I am talking about the pads sounds that normally still sound past the length of triggering midi note. I know there is a |Freeze tail duration" setting in Freeze settings. I have it set to 59.000 seconds, but it does not last even one second. It cuts the tail right where the midi note ends. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

There is a setting in preferences you need to check to preserve reverb tails. I'm just not sure exactly which of the Windows it's in. It's likely under audio.

See this article regarding reverb tails. Terminology and process has been changed.

I have asked it here about a week ago. All settings work only for effects. To prolongate Synth sound you should extend midi clip with free space in it, freeze will stop where clip ends, not last note. Or freeze with "Freeze FX" enabled.

Thank you for your replies.

Freeze FX enabled- isn't it for the effects applied to the track, and has nothing to do with the effects inside the synth? Thanks.

Yes, but it effects tails even if there are no track effects in the bin.
