You know guys, it's kind of like a favorite suit, a favorite guitar, keyboard or whatever. You become so dependent on it and it is such a part of your creative process that when it is not there, you don't sleep right, you don't eat right, you just don't create music the same way.
It is so vitally important to those of us that use this product. As I said, I started out in the 80's with an Atari 1040 STe and Hybrid Arts SMPTETRACK.
After Atari went south my late friend Billy Arnell from NYC suggested I try Cakewalk. I did and I never looked back. Sure, I've seen the Studio Ones, the Reapers, the Pro Tools and all of them. But the quality of sound, the feasibility of doing things always keeps me focused on Cakewalk.
I have to say this. Over the years I have been known to often come up with simple questions. You guys have
never, ever made me feel like a fool for asking. You have always treated me with respect and kindness. I am deeply indebted to you guys for that. Add to that this wonderful product that is always evolving and I do indeed consider myself to be the beneficiary of some of the finest programmers in the music industry. Besides that, these forums are home for some really great and creative users too.
As an ardent supporter and user of Cakewalk Products, I am deeply indebted to Cakewalk by BandLab for helping me keep my songwriting and studio workflow creative, consistent and prolific. I thank you both, and everyone at Cakewalk for the kind help and the pro quality products.
