Hello Everyone,
I have a project file with about 70 softsynths playing at once (i guess you can say I am not into minimal lol). The playback and overall performance of this file is becoming very slow.
I understand I can bounce all my tracks to pure audio tracks. I would then delete all the softsynth instances along with their respective tracks. This way my project file would ONLY contain 70 AUDIO tracks and will be totally rid of any softsynths in the synth rack at all.
My question is, would this be sufficient?
Would it be the same as if I started a brand new project file and just imported these 70 WAV files in as audio tracks? Would there be any left over remnants of the softsynths at all or would it really be like a new project file with just audio tracks?
PS: I know I can also archive all of them, but I rather just delete the softsynths completely as it effects project-load time.
Thank You!
