Okay, so I'm having a problem where I have multiple clips on multiple tracks selected, and hitting the 'nudge R' key (numpad 3) doesn't work. I have num lock on, the key is correctly assigned, it's just not working. And there's an odd selection or cursor-type indicator over one of the clips. Have I accidentally toggled some mode I don't normally use, and if so how can I get out of it?
 
Also, same situation (multiple clips of the same length vertically lined up on multiple tracks), when I select the 'split' tool and click on the spot I want to split clips, it does nothing. Snap is off. Can get normal operation back by quitting Sonar and restarting.

Yes, 0 on the Numkey pad toggles Enhance Editing Mode On/Off, overriding the nudge functions, and that white line is the Enhanced Editing cursor.

Thanks for replying... is there any visual cue other than the cursor that 'enhanced editing mode' is on? Because I didn't even notice it at first.

No, there's not other indicaiton, and you're not the first to be caught out by it. There used to be mode icons that went along with the cursor that made it a little more obvious, but they went missing in X1 IIRC.
 
You might want to bind that key to some other function or to "Do Nothing" to avoid it in the future.
