I just started a new project.  I only have a few tracks in it.  I have one vocal track up to the first verse, and was adding to it to finish the song and everything I record and go to play back sonar chases when I hit the space bar to play it.  It did it consistently without fail so this time I decided to try to save the track before trying to playing it and I get a message that says your hard drive may be full can't write to disk.  But the disc is not full.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I did another project and it worked fine, then I did a new one and had the same problem.  It is very annoying.  If anyone has some suggestion please advise.

Thanks

You are definitely running 64 bit Sonar X3E?
Do you have any 32 bit plugins in the project? Get rid of them..
What happens if you get rid of other plugins.

Try running chkdsk /R via administrative command prompt on your hard drives.
Try temporarily disabling your virus scanner.

Cheers.

If you use the same template to start a new project every time then may be the template has been corrupted.
Start Sonar fresh and then start all over again and see what happens.  Your machine is too powerful for causing any type of crashing.

I raised the buffer size from around 512 to 1024.  It seemed to work.  It hasn't crashed since in the last few hours.

Pretty high buffers though...
Saying "hard drive may be full can't write to disk." is strange error still. I would still check out my last post.

Cheers..
