Hey there,

Sorry if this has been covered before... but is there a way to make the "New Project" button in the new start-up screen correspond to a specific template? I use the same template every time and currently it's sitting right in the middle and I have to scroll down every time to find it haha.

On the start screen, find the template you want to use and click in the upper left on the star. When the star turns blue, it's now your "favorite."

of course, the mad scientist nailed it but what I tend to do is name things I really want to be listed up front as "0......" the  0 tends to migrate everything to the front of the line...

I'm thinking I might have to do what you said Dana because even starring it doesn't make this happen. When it's starred, if I just hit the regular "New Project" button, it's weird... The template is basically right... But it skips the screen where you can name the project/folder before starting. So I still find myself having to scroll down to hunt for the starred template if I want it to ask for a name before starting.

Could use File > New from the main menu instead or bind the menu option to a keyboard shortcut (maybe overwrite the existing CTRL+N binding). "New Project" from the start screen is similar to function called by the default CTRL+N shortcut.

I just have my go to template pinned to the start screen, and if I open it and have something I want after fiddling and playing, I rename it in a new folder as "project X" or whatever.  Then the template stays clean and I have a new song idea all ready to go in its own folder.
