Strangeness:
Maschine 2.3 crashes my home computer on Win10, while it runs fine on my laptop--- also Win10 and Maschine2.3

Slight update: maschine 2.3 in stand-alone mode works FINE with all my other audio drivers EXCEPT RME-FF UFX.
Chasing down a firewire card/driver now. ugh

Further info: after replacing a firewire card = same behavior.

On a whim, I pulled the usb cable going into the maschine hardware and presto... everything works (stand alone and in Sonar).

So this is either a NI controller compatibility issue with Win 10 (on my system) or something else.
Anyone else want to try it without the controller attached?

Were you running a VIA FireWire chipset?

nope. it was some Dell rebrand.

turns out I moved the maschine cable to a new USB port (on the motherboard) and its working normally again.
must have been a frigging IRQ conflict. ugh. hope this helps someone.

but happy to report I'm up and running win10/mashine 2.3/sonar platinum without issues.

I run Maschine MK1 with 2.3 on Windows 10. Work most of the time...
Don't know if this helps, but I've always start Maschine in Standalone mode before I run it in Sonar after I install an update. NI recommends this to scan all plugins etc.

Cool. Anybody tried it? Solved your problems?

I tried it and the problem still exists. :(

In addition, on the NI forums I asked NI to acknowledge the problem (politely) and today they issued the 2.3.1 update and locked several thread including mine! I have no idea why.

Not happy with NI
