Nope they haven't updated it. I'd put money on it's that it's exactly the same bug as Machine.

Yes I got confirmation from NI that it is fixed. I sent them a dump file that I was able to generate by running Maschine under some debugging tools and that helped them narrow it down. Memory related crashes can be very hard to find since they only show up under very specific circumstances and can sometimes crash in completely unrelated code. In this case I was lucky to be able to capture a dump file that helped pinpoint the problem.
NI was very diligent in following up with us on this issue and I am glad that there is a resolution.

Thanks Noel

Hello again

I thought Maschine 2.4 64-bit worked as planned but I am afraid it wasn't...

Well, I don't know why really, but Maschine 2.4 seem so slow inside Sonar Platinum. I thought that it was going well, but realize that it just do funny stuff. The "time indicator" in Maschine software is about 0.5-1 second late from the actual sound (e g a kick). when using it inside the DAW. I also got sudden sounds when not playing at all.

What I liked with the latest update of Sonar is the ability to record audio on different tracks. This is great for Multi-Out of Maschine, for separate tracks for drums. Well, maybe have to go back to 2.2.3, since 2.3 also had its flaws..

Unrelated I suspect, I doubt it is Maschine. Try rolling back a Sonar version or await next Sonar update.

I experienced a similar issue and Cakewalk Tech support confirmed it.  Roll back to Ipswitch for now.

Same for me with latest Sonar and Maschine vst: i hit a pad, sometimes it works and sometimes i can go shopping before hearing the sound... It is unusable.

Did you try rolling back a sonar version?

Thank you for the flag Doktor Avalanche! Very sad times here...

I didn't because I use functions of the latest Sonar's version in this project. I'll better wait next one hoping Cakewalk will fix this very annoying problem.
Unfortunatly I haven't tried the previous Maschine VST with this Jamaica version.
