  • Crash Dump Problem reports?

I've had a couple of  major crashes and lockups in the last 2 days. They sent off dump files and I received the email confirmation about the problem report.

However, when I click the link in the email to view the reports they are not included in the list of my problem reports. Other crash dumps are there, but they are pretty old and all in "submitted to dev" status.

Is it normal that we can't see the automatic trouble tickets?

Same exact issue for me too. Lots of crashing in the past couple of weeks since JP release - very unstable - freezing after a few stop/starts - sometimes creating the report and sends off and email but nothing on the Sonar ticket site (just old ones)....

UPDATE: sorted out my crashing issues (bad midisport driver) so JP is solid again ... but was still having the issue of the tickets appearing to be created after a crash in Sonar and info from crash getting sent and an email back saying they were sent and a ticket # ...... but no where to be found on the Cakewalk support site - just seeing old tickets from 10 months ago and nothing in the past 2 weeks

I am having a similar problem but I am not seeing any crash dumps created not any offer to send an email to Cakewalk.  All I get is the following standard "Windows is closing the application" kind of message:

Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Update - I have eliminated my issue and it was not a Sonar issue.

if anyone is using a Novation controller and running Automap, there is a beta version that eliminates the crashing issue I was having.  That explains why Sonar was not giving me any crash dump or prompting me to send the email.

You can find the version of Automap required to eliminate the issue at the following link:

So, sorry to hijack this thread as it appears my problem was not related to the problem of the OP.

Many JP crashing issues, especially opening projects created a year or so ago... have eliminated many plugins, so I don't think that's the issue, but will continue to try to find something useful out. Very frustrating and time consuming, as expected.

I had crashing with synths with multiple outputs and drum maps. Once I removed the drum maps the first CPU core would be heavily overloaded (known JP issue), and then it would no longer crash.
I had to roll back from JP.
