I loaded Pro Audio 9 on my Win 10 machine and was planning on using it with a new 4Ch Behringer.
HOWEVER, I guess Pro Audio 9 expected a 'previous' version and started hanging up so I tried to remove it the proper way (it has a removal program). So I ended up deleting all the files I could find of Cakewalk and other program files associated with Pro Audio 9
I have a sonar 2.2 But don't know what sequence that disk is ?
I also have a Pro Audio 8 which is an original program and won't expect a previous program.
I also have "My Purchased programs ". Sonar X1 ;  Sonar 8.5 Prod. ;
Can anyone steer me to which of these programs will load correctly on my Win 10 (Quad Core i7 4Gig ram LAPTOP)
Thanks,...sandy

Holy moly, this thread is an entire decade old.

In answer to your question, X1 is your strongest bet for compatibility.

This is what happens when you try to do the right thing by searching the forums for your issue before starting a new thread about it.

Anyone remember Yamaha QX8??? FB01?? RX5??? DX27??

Happy Memories!!!

I was close to that setup. I had a QX21, RX21, FB01, DX100 and a Juno106. I ended up replacing all but the Juno106 with a Yamaha V50. Those were the days.
