I've been using Boost 11 on a few things (usually the master bus and sometimes a problematic track)....

Was looking at the Concrete Limiter.....they appear somewhat similar in setup.....just wondering....is one any better than the other, or are they essentially going to perform to similar if not exact results?

$20 seems reasonable for it, if I'll get a true improvement in sound or overall system performance....otherwise, I'll stick with what I've got...

Thanks,

I suggest getting the concrete limiter.
Can't go wrong and at $20, you'll find you get your money's worth hand over fist.

Get Concrete Limiter, it's much better general purpose limiter.

Have both boost11 is okay, but it is a bit rough compared to Concrete limiter, its much smoother! Better!

IMHO , the concrete limiter is much more useful than the Boost 11.
You can use it on a track per track basis in the Pro Channel . This will give you a lot of flexibility for dialing in up a punchy sounding mix before you have to put anything on the master buss . In addition to that the C L  seems to sound very transparent w out introducing artifacts …

Can't add anything else to what's already been said.

CL is head & shoulders above Boost 11

Good enough for me....Just wanted to make sure I wasn't paying for an upgraded GUI.... ;-)

I think I'll pick it up tonight.

Its one of my goto plugins. Its slick, easy to use and transparent. It does its job without fuss.

I've had it since it was first released. Its a very useful plugin.

Purchased and installed!  And....sure it may be placebo effect....but replacing boost 11 with the Concrete Limiter actually made a difference to my ears....will play around more with it tomorrow...

Thanks for the responses.
