I did loose these 2 prochannel modules after updating Sonar to the latest version.
Not sure where to find them again since they are included with my Sonar platinum license.

Please help.
Thanks.

There is some part of the story missing here. Did you uninstall anything after upgrading? Have you run a VST scan recently? Have you tried rolling back to a previous version?

You should be able to find these components under C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Internal. Look for items called PCS-BusCM.dll (PC4K Bus Comp) and PCS-NukeCM.dll (PC76 Comp). If you don't see these here, it's best to just run the SONAR installer again.

If you do see them here, go into SONAR and go to Edit > Preferences > File > VST Settings. Click Reset... (just to be on the safe side). Click Yes. If a scan does not begin automatically, click Scan. That should get you going :)

Thanks for clarifying VST reset works for Prochannel, people were stating this does not apply to PC when I gave out similar advice a while back. As an enhancement request it would be nice to have that tab renamed "Pro Channel and VST settings" or something in order to avoid confusion.

... Thanks...

Thanks for the great advice :)
I just tried it but i still didn't get them back and they are in the folder but they just don't show up.
I also tried rollback and nothing helps.

Does anyone know which of the install files i should reinstall to get it back?
Is it in one of those fx installers in my download folder for the command center?

They are installed as part of the SONAR core. They are not in the fx installers.

Are you sure that they are not already on the highlighted track?

If they are on that track and you look again they will not show up in the list.

You probably already know this but just in case I thought that I would mention it.

This is true and they are mutually exclusive so if the PC76 U-Type in on a track or bus, the PC4K S-Type Bus Compressor will not show in the insert list. It will show in the replace list though.

I would like to read that thread, do you have a link? I do recall a thread in which someone suggested there was no need to perform a scan of any kind after installing a PC module and argued at length it must be a bug.

Thank you guys :)
Yes i already had the PC76 U-Type Compressor in prochannel replace showed the other compressor and removing it made both back on the list :)

Even after so many years with Sonar i still learn something new like this.
