It seems that no matter how I set the input gain if I turn on the interleave button then the effects loop is overloaded (red in color on for example the EQ)....
What am I doing wrong?
 
Apparently after engaging the transport the inputs show normal.

The Interleaved button selects mono or stereo.

Could it be that when you select one or the other that 2 mono tracks are being fed into the fx bus thus increasing the input by +3b that could be causing the overload. Two identical Mono tracks fed into a bus will increase the energy by +3db compared to a single mono track at the same level.

I think there may be a bug at play here because I've noticed the same thing at times in the past, and it definitely wasn't an overload. In some cases the red overload light woul stay lit even after stopping playback and I'd have to toggle interleaved on and off a few times to reset it.
