A couple of months ago I found a issue that caused me to stop using the Softube unit in Pro Channel, I used it for a couple of months and one day it was transparent, I could see the outline but had no way to adjust it, it might have still been working but I don't remember. I contacted Joe in support about the problem but at the time there was no answer for it. By the way, Cakewalk support is awesome, I have chatted with Joe a few times and he is very helpful. Anyway, Joe got back to me about the Softtube issue and it turns out the development team now figured out what's going on. He first asked if I had duel video monitors, and I do, I have a 24 inch touch screen and a 32 inch flat panel. He told me that if I try switching the monitors so that the primary #1 was where I was inserting the Softube, so I did and it worked. I did not switch my monitors but I made sure when I inserted the effect it was on #1 and it worked. I then put my mixer back on #2 and it stayed there, not sure for how long so I took it out, hard to trust it at this point. The development team is working on the problem so we will see what happens, what I was told is that the Softube will not "DRAW" correctly on a secondary monitor.
Thanks, Bob

Hi. Could it be that you are trying to adjust Saturation Knob in Console View, while having the second monitor mounted above the main monitor? I have had this issue for at least a year (since X3). If so, there seems to be an issue with (-) X - Y coordinates (if I understand correctly). I hope there will be a fix to that soon.
All the best.

Ps. If that is the case, you can adjust the Saturation Knob in Track View, Inspector (I) Pro Channel. That is what I have been doing.

I've never seen this, perhaps it's graphics card specific?

Thanks guys, I will stay in contact with Joe in support and let you know what they come up with. And at some point I will list my studio equipment so you can see what I have, but for now I want to mix and be productive. One more comment. I have been having a problem once in awhile with my Melodyne, it has a minor issue. It has to do with the mouse pointer not triggering the "Blob" to make a sound, it plays Ok but when I am placing notes I can't hear them. Anyone had this problem before? I will put this on it's own post at a later date.
Thanks again for the comments, Bob

Enable Input Echo when you want to hear the results of manipulating the sound of an effect.

Flip the 7 and the 6 and that's my graphics card. I think NVidia cards are nothing but problems when it comes to latencies, clicks, pops, timing issues, graphics issues, etc.  I've had nothing but issues since day 1, but I am too lazy and too cheap to buy another graphics card from ATI.

Thank you for the replies, I will check the input echo and see what happens. After I rebuilt my template I checked and the sound was back on.

Also while this subject is fresh, is anyone's Saturation Knob PC module missing in Platinum?  Mine is, and it SHOULD come with Platinum, right?
