I am running the latest version of Platinum with the Prochannel bundle.  The CA-2A T-Type Leveling Amplifier doesn't appear among the list of Prochannel items.  I can insert it as an effect and the horizontal vst version appears, but no prochannel.  I already re-downloaded and re-installed to no effect (sorry for the pun).  Any ideas?  Thanks

Rescan plugins. I had the same issue, but rescanning made it show up for the prochannel.

Thanks.  I re-scanned all plugs, and added the very vst3folder it's in to the list, but still no dice.  I submitted a ticket.

If you only installed the VST3 format, the CA-2A will not show in the ProChannel. You must install the VST2 format to get the ProChannel version to show up.

Thanks Scook, but I didn't have a choice.  The only choice was between 32 and 64-bit.

Well, thanks to scook, I was able to figure this out.  Since I wasn't given the choice about vst2 or vst3, I assume this may be an issue only with the new subscription version or Command Center or something like that.  But in any case when installing the Prochannel Bundle to SONAR Platinum using the Command Center, I was not given any choice between VST3 or VST2, and as scook said, only the VST2 version installs the Prochannel plugin.  The VST3 version installs the full plugin version.

As it turns out, the VST2 version is installed by Command Center, but its location is not included in the default list of vst locations to scan.  The following location has to be manually added to the Plugin Manager list:

C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\VstPlugins

Sure enough, it works like a charm now!

The Strum GS-2.dll is also located in this spot, so it's possible that including it in your vst scan might improve its function as well, though I have not verified this.

I emailed Support and suggested this was a bug to fix.

So thanks again to everybody for the help.

meh
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\VstPlugins is part of my scan list but the leveling Amp does not show up in Pro Channell but I can insert it as an audio effect?
It appears that this is the location on my machine...
c:\program files\common files\vst3\CA2ALevelingAmplifier\CA-2ALevelingAmplifier_64.vst3

Should I be able to select it in Prochannell?

Interesting.  Maybe the location varies.  Yes, you can insert it as an effect.

But the vst3 version is the full plugin, not the little Prochannel version, which is VST2.  Try doing a search for CA-2ALevelingAmplifier_64.dll (or CA-2ALevelingAmplifier_32.dll depending on which you installed).  Then add that folder to the list under Options in Plugin Manager and rescan.
