Yes I'm getting that now . I'm wondering if it's possible to insert any sort of grid template into the piano roll so that I can align notes manually ?

Ok ...(later post)....I found it in the Piano Roll View ....now that I can see and manually adjust timing to grid I've solved the problem ...a bit of a job but it works fine.
