Hello. Dimension pro has not work with velocity. My midi keybord has ''touch'' button and its active for sensitivity but nothing happend.  In z3ta+2 for example its fine. Has velocity normal.

I follow this in dimension pro:

1. Open up Dimension, load a program, and open the MIDI Matrix window.
2. In the first available slot in the "Source" column click the small arrow symbol and from the popup list choose "Velocity".
3. In the same slot in the "Destination" column click the small arrow symbol and from the popup list choose "Volume | Volume All".
4. Set depth and smoothness columns to values you determine work best for you through experimentation.

but its not sounds to me like velocity. Piano is too crispy and i try to fix this. I want classic velocity, as in z3ta+2 and other vst instruments.

Please help. Sorry for bad english.

You shouldn't have to make an entry in the MIDI matrix to enable velocity tracking. Dim Pro Pianos have amplitude velocity tracking enabled by default. See the "Veltrack" parameter in the EG section for Amplitude.

Come on, some help please...

Finally i have same problem in z3ta+2. I work with fl studio 10. If i load fl keys (simple vst of fl studio) velocity are fine. In z3ta, dimension pro and rapture all are straight. Why?

Stratigos,

this is a user forum.  I suggest you ask Cakewalk support.

I can't really understand what your problem is, so I can't offer any help.  I think you are wanting to control something with velocity, but I'm not sure what.  Volume?  The volume might be limited on how low it can go because of another controller (amp envelope or SFZ).  Try loading a different sound into a single element and see if that works how you want it.  If it works like you expect, it is probably in the SFZ file definition.  If you have the same problem, it is probably in the amp settings.

Sorry I can't help more.

AT, Thank you for reply. To understand, i want more sensitivity (if i say right) like in this video for example in 7:30 minutes. When say velocity levels. I want same thing in dimension pro, z3ta and rapture. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cU67IOWOh-8
