My little guy has been busy recording tunes in Garageband on his iPad. He's pretty creative, I want to pull some clips into Sonar to further develop his songs. I have no idea where to look for the files or how to browse files on an ipad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I exported a song to dropbox and downloaded it from there.

There's not a file explorer like in windows. Each app has a means of accessing the files it creates.

Although you have a work around mudgel is correct.
Last time I had to do this I used iTunes to access the files.

I believe IOS11 will make things easier with it's "files" app.
