I did the install for the x64 version and I see the dll in the correct folder, but Cakewalk's VST Scanner is not picking it up...
 
I selected the re-scan failed as well as re-booted the machine...
 
Yes, it uses iLok and it's installed and activated there for this computer...
 
I seem to recall others having scan issues but found nothing relative to this synth from AIR\

I don't know how to help you, but I thought I'd share that the AIR Hybrid Synth works on my system.

I'm running Windows 10 x64.

But my version is registered on the laptop itself, not on Ilok.
I DO plan to use Ilok in the future though.

You are using the manual scan right?

One thing to try, transferring the license to the machine to verify if that works without Ilok.
Anything to narrow down the list of what's going wrong.

I just tried an un/re-install thinking maybe I did the iLok reg in the wrong order, but nothing changed...
 
I'm running on win8.1 and this is the first time I've ever had this problem with any of my plugins...
 
Wouldn't the scanner see it even if it was not ilok registered? Usually I've found such a situation to cause an error message when loading it (with a lock out), but vst scanner still found it and added it to the auto-menu.
 
It is not in the list of vsti scanned. vst2 is what I installed... Not in any excluded lists either...

BTW... I have a number of other iLok devices both fx and instruments that work fine with the iLok account...

I'm running Hybrid 3 on both Win 7 64 bit, and Win 10 64 bit with it authorised on an iLok - I've had no issues at all.

Something odd...

I notice in ilok that there are two separate entries each for 2 licenses. Is this normal? Maybe somehow i have two licenses? I've tried each as well as both but nothing changes.

Are you guys seeing two entries?

I would e mail Air's support, they will answer in a few days. I have had issues with most of the products over time that I never have with others. I think it's great sounding stuff, but a little buggy. 
I have a very similar situation but with Xpand2 only.
It won't show in CbB, works fine in Splat. 
All the other Ar stuff works fine, only Xpand
And Yes I have 2 entries for Xpand2 in my iLok account. So I wonder if that's a clue to the mystery.

Xpand 2 is fine for both Splat and CbB here with only a single ilok entry while Hybrid has 2 entries and is ignored by VST Scanner...

I will contact Air as you suggest...

Is your Hybrid on a different disc to your DAW. I had this problem with one of Air's synthase and move it across to my system disc then it worked. Bizarre but worth a try if they are on different drives!

Air uses a different install method and I had trouble putting content on my data drive and having it find it. As I said, great sounding stuff, but buggy interface. Needs TLC to get it to work. 
 

I had trouble with this yesterday, but I think the problem for me was iLok I could not connect to their server at all.

However today iLok found the licence, authorised it and activated it.  CbB found them on a scan working no problem here.
