Hey, does anyone have the old drivers for these guys?  I have a multimix 12, but i think it may work the same.  I can't get my Windows 7 x64 to detect the mixer.  Or Windows XP SP3.   Using a laptop with built-in firewire, and an express card.

I buoght it second hand, though, and i feel like the firewire may have been bricked.  I still want to be sure about it though.

Hello!
I have an older mix Alesis Multimix 16 Firewire and the same problem was solved in this forum. Empty box in the Control Panel and malfunctioning firmware update ("waiting for device"). I would try to older drivers (from year 2005, 2006 or 2007). It can be downloaded somewhere? Please help if possible. I am sorry for my bad English ...

I Have PCI Firewire controller (by NEC, chipset VIA) or notebook onboard (chipset TI), and drivers version 3.1.0.1210.

Thanks Pavel

Drivers can be downloaded here (latest is better, I've owned one - Multimix 16 Firewire, updated, stable).

Problem with the Multimix Firewire could have been overheating issue. I left mine turned ON over night one time in a none air cond environment and next day problem starts (crackle, digital noise). It's repaired now by my dealer. After the repair, it's working great, but since I've upgraded to my current Roland Quad Capture, I've only use the multi mix occasionally for the mixer function, not for recording.
