Sorry if this has already been covered. In track view, there used to be a button on each individual track to collapse or expand it. I don't see it anymore in JP. I'm I the only one that doesn't see it?

Just double click in empty areas of the track controls...

Have you tried Shift + Z (Auto Track zoom)?
All the best.

What kind of expanding do you mean? I don't think I've ever seen such a button... unless you mean the one that expands Take Lanes.

The only feature that expands the track header panel thingie is Auto Track Zoom which has no button (and I disable because it collapses other tracks at the same time). Actually I'd kind of like a dedicate "Expand Track" button that expands a track to user defined height (without affecting the height of other tracks... and that collapses it back to it's original minimize height after).

edit: based on the follow posts perhaps there is a button when Auto Track Zoom is enabled... but I just never saw it because I never have it enabled. Sorry.

This is probably the answer. When Auto Track Zoom is enabled the double arrow in the track header is not displayed.

I did somehow enable auto track zoom. I use control Z a lot and probably just slipped. Double arrow is back. Thanks Zargg, scook, and everyone else who replied!

If it becomes a bother, remember you can map SHIFT+Z to do nothing in Keyboard shortcut preferences
