Does anyone know of a way to pin folders to the new start screen? I have grown to like it and that would be a handy feature.

Handy Dandy it would be to pin folders in the Start Screen !
I get the feeling the start screen feature development is only in it's infancy, and features like you're suggesting will only get traction if there are feature requests submitted. You'd have my vote on this one.

Folders for what?

Folders where projects are stored Bob. As an example, I have 2 separate HDD's that contain projects. On one of those drives is a folder called 'originals', on another drive I have a folder called 'covers', I would like to pin shortcuts to both of these folders on the start screen.

Agreed! I would find this more useful than just the projects themselves. Gets my vote

Thanks for clarifying.  The reason I asked is because the SS opens the traditional Windows navigation dialog when you select "Existing Project", whereas "New From Template" stays in the SS display area for selection.  I **really, really** want the ability to organize templates via folders that would be navigable inside of the SS display area.  I've tried creating sub-folders inside my template directory, but SS ignores them.  Unfortunately, the File->New dialog ignores the sub-directories as well.

I can see how staying inside the SS display for "Existing Project" navigation would be nifty too.
