In the case of style dials though you could have presets..

1. Can't be arsed.
2) Fairly lazy
3) Knob a bit too far for me to move
4) Marathon knob turner
5) Going to 11!

Think how much effort and fatigue this would save, just turning one knob could be a heck of an effort for many ;)

Even Waves make style dials, with their one button plugs by CLA etc. If it works, use it!

But Cakewalk, can we have one that says Cappuccino, Latte, Macchiato please? :O)

I would like this one. It's a style-dial-preset-dial called MOJO...and that's exactly what it does.

(just to clarify before someone get's upset. Just havin' a bit of fun here.
 I don't mind the style-dials myself, except for the SIZE of them in the prochannel.)

I like the idea of a style knob, because it sort of echoes how Waves introduced the one-knob idea in their own line of plug-ins. My only beef is they are buried in the ProChannel, which is also buried in my experience. If they could be added to the standard channel strip like Sends and FX's, they'd be a win for me.

I really dont use pro channel so I missed those.

I have used the grit dial on a rhythm guitar track on a blues song I'm working on and it roughed it up just enough and I have used the space dial at the end of a song that had a dead stop ending in which I automated the dial increasing the amount in the last two bars giving the ending a nice pop of reverb.  Both times the style knobs worked well, quick and easy.  For a fast effect plug one in and go.  I like the idea of putting the Grit knob on a sax part. It's good to have them available thanks !
