I'm trying to learn AudioSnap.  There is a video on YouTube that shows using the Transient Tool button to raise the AudioSnap palette and turn on AudioSnap markers for editing.  Sounds great, but I can't find a Transient Tool button.

Also, if I select an audio  groove clip that's in my project, use 'A' to raise the AudoSnap palette, and try to power up AudioSnap nothing happens.  I can't seem to get AudioSnap markers to appear.  Is this because the clip is a groove clip?  (I haven't tried recording some raw audio yet...)

Thanks

Clips can either be audio snap OR groove clips, but not both. So that will be part of your problem. I'm not sure what you mean by "transient tool button". If you've come across this in a video, does the video not show where it is?

In recent versions of SONAR, you get the Transient Tool by choosing Transients in the track's Edit Filter dropdown.
